We are pleased to announce that we recently successfully completed an exciting project for Cisco Schweiz GmbH: the replacement of the cooling generation plant during ongoing operation. This project posed a particular challenge, as it supports the strategic infrastructure that is crucial for Cisco’s worldwide operations.
The old cooling generation plant at Cisco Schweiz GmbH had worked reliably over the years, but no longer achieved the efficiency of modern technologies. The goal was therefore clear: replacement with a new unit with a significantly higher efficiency. This was intended not only to improve operational efficiency but also to contribute to the company’s sustainability.
One of the most critical aspects of this project was replacing the plant during uninterrupted operation. An interruption to the cooling supply could have had serious consequences for Cisco’s operations. Careful planning and execution were therefore required to ensure that the transition took place seamlessly and without interruption.
Thanks to the excellent collaboration between our team and the specialists from Diotherm, MacGroup and JJL, the project was implemented on schedule and to the complete satisfaction of all concerned. Every step was carefully planned and carried out, always ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.The result is a state-of-the-art cooling generation plant that is not only more energy-efficient but also improves the performance and reliability of the infrastructure at Cisco.
